Terms & Conditions

Deposit, Payment Schedule & Registration

For all trips (3) days or longer, $500.00 non-refundable per person
deposit is required at the time of booking with a reservation
application. Each deposit paid covers Stella Maris Tours services
including but not limited to, account management and administrative
upkeep. Full payment due date varies with each trip depending on the
itinerary, but is typically due 90 days prior to the departure date. For
itineraries that involve cruises, 120 days is the norm. Specific due
dates will be listed on the registration form. If a booking is made
within 90 days of departure, full payment is due then.

For trips that are 1-2 days in length, full payment of the trip is due at
time of registration. No refunds can be given once it is within 30 days
of the trip.

Our costs are based on USD. Prices are per person in double
occupancy.

For our International Clients – All foreign currency payments are
converted to the USD Equivalent, in accordance with exchange rate
on the date of payment. Exchange rate fluctuations are at the clients
risk.

Forms of Payment

Checks or payments made through our website via credit card (Visa, Master Card or Discover) or PayPal are accepted. If mailing a payment, note tour name & dates. In case of any billing error, we reserve the right to re-invoice and correct billing.

Price Guarantee

Prices are guaranteed once trip is paid in full. Although, not expected, prices may change due to significant external factors. Stella Maris Tours is not under obligation to give a breakdown of costs and services to anyone at anytime.

Not Included

Travel Insurance; Cancel for Any Reason Waiver; Items of a personal nature (such as telephone calls, mini bar, laundry) drinks and lunches (unless noted otherwise for a specific trip).

Passports, Visas, Visa Waiver & Documents

A valid passport is required for all trips which will take place outside the US, and it must be valid at least 6 months after your return date. It is the traveler’s sole responsibility to obtain and have available when necessary the appropriate valid travel documents. All guests are advised to check with the appropriate government authority in each country visited to determine the necessary documents. At times, Hotel or Cruise Vessel May require you to hold your passport. When and if a visa or visa waiver is required, it is the passengers responsibility to obtain one. Stella Maris Tours, owner, agent, or employees cannot be held liable for clients not having proper passports, visa, visa waiver, or other travel documents. Cancellations due to a lack of appropriate documents will incur usual penalties. A Passport Card is not useful for International Air Travel. Attempting to use this instead of a Passport Book will result in a denial of boarding by the airlines and entry by the legal authorities.

Final Documents

If your trip includes flights you will be emailed to you approximately two (2) weeks prior to departure. Upon receipt, you are responsible to check your itinerary, spelling of your name, dates, times, and other important information to ensure their validity. Should there be any errors it is the guest’s responsibility to contact Stella Maris Tours via email within 24 hours.

Participation

Stella Maris Tours and suppliers contracted for services reserve the right to refuse to accept or retain any traveler whose behavior is deemed likely to affect the smooth operations of a tour or adversely affect the enjoyment or safety of other passengers. Stella Maris Tours, its agents, and suppliers shall be under no liability to any such person for refund, compensation, repatriation, or any other matters arising.

Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be received in writing or via email from an email
address used to register for the tour. Cancellations for standard tours
are subject to the following penalty:

Trips (3) days or longer: date of Registration – 91 days prior to
departure: penalty is $500.00 per person. If your trip cancellation
notification is received after final payment date, no refunds can be
given.

Trips 1-2 days in length: Date of registration – 31 days prior to
departure: full refund can be given less a $15 processing fee. 30 days prior to departure or less,
no refunds can be given.

ADDITIONAL CANCELLATION CHARGES MAY APPLY

Partial Room Cancellation: If a guest cancels or leaves a pilgrimage
and a roommate remains, an additional supplement may apply.

*Special event group departures may have different conditions; please
carefully review these and any other terms & conditions for each
departure that may be printed on the specific registration sheet.
